Harvey ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Harvey mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: your email address and name, provided during sign-up.
• Tasks and projects: the tasks, projects, goals, and notes you create inside the app.
• Usage data: how you interact with the app, including which features you use.
• Device token: a push notification token to send you daily briefs and task reminders.
• Calendar data (optional): if you grant permission, Harvey accesses your Apple Calendar to display events alongside your tasks. This data is read locally on your device and is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly import an event into Harvey.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Harvey service.
• To generate personalized AI coaching messages and daily briefs.
• To send you push notifications about your tasks and schedule.
• To understand how users interact with Harvey and improve the product.

3. AI and Data Processing

Harvey uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate coaching messages. Your task and project data may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate these responses. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS) and secure authentication.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only with the following third-party services required to operate Harvey:

• Anthropic — AI message generation
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Expo / Expo Push — push notification delivery
• Vercel — backend hosting

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for optional features (e.g. calendar access, push notifications) at any time via your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Harvey is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Harvey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
